Danielle Paus - Irish Harp Tunes
This class will focus on introducing Irish Harp tunes to students who are already at an intermediate or advanced level Danielle will have some harps available for students to use. Class size is limitted to 5 students maximum. - Chuck Donnelly - Beginner Bodhran.
This workshop is for people who have little or no experience playing bodhran but who want to learn! We will go over the very basics on how to hold the drum and tipper. You will learn some basic beats including jigs and reels with triplets. If time permits, we'll learn to sing a song and play the bodhran at the same time. Download the lesson here. Students should bring their own drum and tipper. We will a few for sale at the school, but they will probably sell out quickly. - Pauleena McDougall - Irish Dance
This dance course assumes no prior Irish dance experience. The course will begin with the basic steps required for jigs and reels, (threes, sevens, rising steps), will review the different types of Irish dance (solo soft and hard shoe, ceili) Irish step dance form and style, and will progress through the week. Students may attend either or both of the classes, but should expect that the second class assumes some knowledge of dance. - Christian Stevens - Concertina
This workshop is primarily for intermediate and advanced concertina students. Students should already be familiar with their instruments. Students who are relatively new to the concertina but familiar with playing Irish style music on other instruments will also benefit from this class. - Chuck Whitney - Intermediate and Advanced Whistle
- Chuck Whitney - Whistle making (lecture)
- Lizza Backes - Whistle (all levels)
- Katie Trautz - Swedish Fiddle

Richard's clawhammer Banjo Workshop starts out with the basic clawhammer stroke, and progressing from there, we will work on playing melody and accompaniment to as many tunes as we can. For more advanced students, or for those who play another instrument, we will work on arranging tunes specifically for clawhammer, and the techniques such as drop thumbing and hammer ons, that let the melody come out. - Emma Walsh - Irish Fiddle

Hugh Curran - Story Telling and Celtic Mythology
Hugh Curran a native of Co Donegal Ireland, will share his fascinating insight of early Irish literature with stories about how sacred sites like Holy Wells and megalithic mounds such as Newgrange, relate to ecological consciousness. -
CANCELLED Pamela Rackliffe Capurso - Wheat Weaving or Corn Dollies
Wheat weaving is an art form whose origins are almost as old as wheat itself. Why do weavers love this ancient art form? The answers are as varied as the variety of weavings themselves. Some people are captivated by this craft's ties to civilization's oldest beliefs, some are continuing a family tradition, many enjoy working with a natural material and others are hooked by the fact both beginners and experts can enjoy the world of this folk art. This class is intended to teach the basic ideas of weaving and plaiting and hopefully impart the centuries old romance of this art form in one's heart. Materials will be included in class price.
This class will focus on introducing new students to the Irish Harp. Danielle will have several harps available for students to work with. Class size is limited to 5 students maximum.
