Apply for 2016 Scholarships

Scholarships pay for ½ of the tuition fee only (lodging and food are not included in the scholarship program). The program is made available by our sponsors and is designed to help people pay tuition who might otherwise not be able to attend.

A limited number of scholarships are awarded; we ask that people apply based on need. There is no deadline for submission; however, early applicants will receive priority. You will receive notice of award by email within three weeks of when Acadia Trad School receives your application in the mail. Applicants who are awarded the scholarship will be asked to fill out our on-line registration form and make payment of the balance by May 31st.

Students who receive a scholarship will be asked to help out during the course of the school week for approximately five hours total effort (roughly one hour per day). Typical tasks might be to help with setup and cleanup for concerts and classes. Work tasks are scheduled so as not to conflict with students’ music program. Students with handicaps may have light-duty tasks assigned to them or have the volunteer work requirement waived.
