Sessions & Dances

At the heart of the Acadia Trad Festival are the many opportunities to build community and connect with other trad enthusiasts.

Formal and informal sessions are scattered throughout the campus, and you can expect to find gatherings of students and faculty at all hours of the day and night. Sessions vary widely in genre and in playing level, and welcome listeners as well as participants. For the most part, sessions are limited to students and faculty, however a limited number of passes to the After Hours Club are available for listeners or participants.

2016 will be the Year of the Dance at the Acadia Trad Festival! Details are still being developed, but we expect there will be three social community dances following the evening concerts. Check back soon for more information!
