Acadia Trad Concerts
Engaging audiences with the diversity and talent of today’s traditional music and dance performers is a vital component of the Acadia Trad School mission. With a variety of genres and instrumentation held year-round in venues across Down East Maine and beyond, Acadia Trad Concerts showcase both established world-class talent and advanced students that are well on their way to a traditional music or dance career.
While concerts are held year-round, the flagship event is the week-long Acadia Trad Festival. Offered during this week are a dozen Acadia Halls concerts, featuring many of the top traditional music and dance performances in the world. Acadia Halls Concerts are held in historic buildings, local community centers and at College of the Atlantic’s Gates Auditorium, providing a wide variety of experiences for concert-goers.
