Students & Schedules
Each day is structured in three parts: 1) morning classes focus on an instrument major and are available to students who register for the week; 2) afternoon workshops are where students get to work in ensembles, try out other instruments, learn songs, and dance; and 3) evening concerts, sessions, and dance programs.
Students can register for the full week or individual days. Walk-in workshop students do not need to pre-register.
Registered Student, Full Week
The best option for people who are serious about trad music, dance, and learning. As a full-time registered student you have access to all the classes and workshops, as well as the After Hours Club (social and evening jam sessions). Full-time students receive complimentary access to all evening concert for themselves (limited seating available, first-come-first served).
Registered Student, Individual Days
A limited number of students are accepted to attend at a daily rate. A one-day pass gets you into all classes and workshops for that day, as well as the After Hours club that night. Morning classes are progressive and day students may feel a bit behind, especially later in the week. Availability for this registration method will depend on class space on a given day, and preference for classes will be given to Full-time students. Sorry, day students do not receive complimentary access to concerts.
Afternoon workshops and After Hours sessions are open to walk-in students who pay by the class. Workshops are self-contained instructional units, and are not progressive from the previous day’s instruction. Please note: morning classes are for registered students only.
